Merchant knowledge base

Documentation

Masanchara helps merchants run sales, manage stock, track credit, and close the business day with the app that is actually installed on the device.

Finance & reports

Financial reports & reconciliation

Available reports

Masanchara includes financial report views for the main operating picture: profit and loss, balance sheet, trial balance, and VAT-related reporting. These are the reports used to review the financial state of the business for a selected period.

Reconciliation

The app also includes reconciliation checks that compare the inventory ledger account to the stock layers currently in the system. This is a useful operational sanity check, but it is specifically a stock-to-ledger reconciliation rather than a full bank statement or cash count reconciliation.

How to use the reports

  1. Choose the reporting period.
  2. Review the relevant statement or summary.
  3. Export the report if you need to share it externally or keep a record.
  4. If there is a mismatch, check the underlying transactions and stock layers before adjusting any assumptions.

Important limits

  • Financial reporting is evidence-based and operational, but it is not a substitute for a separate accounting or tax filing system.
  • Always confirm that the chart of accounts and tax configuration match the way your store is actually operating before relying on a report for compliance decisions.
